Remarks & Notes
A colorful consist led Burlington Northern Santa Fe intermodal train Z-WSPLAC7-30 when it was photographed at Martinez Siding, just east of Cajon Pass' Summit, making its way from Willow Springs IL to Los Angeles CA. Eleven-month-old BNSF Dash 9-44CW 734, resplendent in its Superfleet paint job, leads the train, followed by HLCX SD40 6079 (ex-HLCX 4062, ex-UP 4062, originally-Missouri Pacific 762) and Burlington Northern SD40-2 6846, in clean "White Face" paint. (Martinez Siding, Summit, Cajon Pass, California - July 3, 1998)
