October 25, 1987 finds PNER 1751 visiting Conklin Yard, presumably waiting here for some shop time. The GP9 is ex-CR 7242, exx-PC 7242, née-PRR 7242, built 10/1959. While Pocono Northeast Railway, based in Wilkes-Barre, was viable only until 1993, the GP9 went on to serve Air Products (as the plant switcher) and then the Luzerne and Susquehanna Railway (as LS 1751).
