Remarks & Notes
Amtrak is like alot of businesses in America right now struggling to keep going. The evidence is seen here as the Southwest Chief has a tiny 5 cars train on their trek from LA to Chicago. Here the train crosses the Des Moines River on the BNSF Marceline Sub at MP 252. The train is about 18 miles from the next station stop at Fort Madison, IA.
