A westbound CP sulfur train using CN trackage rolls toward the most challenging section of the Thompson River Canyon where the mountainside is known for slides and CN had to build short tunnels and slide sheds to protect their rigth of way. CP's own track, used by both carriers for eastbound trains, is in the lower right on the "easier" side of the river. CP was here first. |
