Remarks & Notes
Burlington Northern S4 919 switching in Duluth MN April 1971. BN 919 was built as NP 719 in May 1953 and retired in May 1973. There are a couple hallmarks of the NP on display with this unit including the brass bell with pull rope and the canvas awning above the cab window. In the winter months these switchers had the radiator louvers covered with canvas as well. Robert C. Anderson Photo from my Collection.
