Out of the vastness of the Arizona plateau comes the 528 East with a manifest, about to rumble across the great trestle at Canyon Diablo. Remnants of the foundation of the original 1882 single-track trestle are visible on the canyon wall, adjacent to the newer structure completed in 1947.
