A CN freight works its way west toward Pt. Mann's Thornton Yard at Cisco, BC in the Fraser River Canyon above Boston Bar. CN suffered a fire on their bridge, and when repaired it was primed in orange, but never repainted beyond that. CP's bridge is in the foreground, popping their main lout of a tunnel and under the CN. CN's water level grades permitted long trains handled by two non-dynamic brake SD40s, whereas CP used several units with mid-train power for their trains.
