Spokane Portland and Seattle C415 100 is seen switching in Portland OR September 1969. The 100 was built in November 1968 and became BN 4010. The SP&S rostered two C415 switchers and had more on order but Alco ceased locomotive production before the order was completed. This unit was retired in October 1980. The two SP&S C415 switchers had the medium height cab option and Hi-Ad trucks. Only 26 C415s were built with Southern Pacific and Rock Island ordering ten units each, the SP&S had two and the rest were single unit orders. Allan Miller Photo from my Collection.
