Seven six-axle locomotives power a Burlington Northern empty coal train over the impressive 640-foot North Platte River Bridge at Guernsey, Wyoming, on July 4, 1988. Locomotives up front are as follows: BN GE C30-7 No. 5586, BN GE U30C No. 5836, Union Pacific EMD SD40-2 No. 3775, BN GE U30C Nos. 5900 and 5819, and BN EMD SD40-2 Nos. 7245 and 7287. The train is headed west on the railroad’s Canyon Subdivision.
