On the afternoon of May 28, 2000, Santa Fe GE C40-8W No. 846, along with a pair of Heritage II C44-9Ws, leads a westbound Burlington Northern Santa Fe manifest out of Rocky Colorado. The train is circling lesser-known “Little 10 Curve” and is being helped with a pair of EMD SD40-2 pushers on the rear. In the foreground is Clay siding and the Moffat Tunnel Subdivision main line where the train will be in a few minutes.
