| During the course of an excursion with Union Pacific 4-6-6-4 3985 on Sherman Hill, several run-bys were all but obliterated by smoke that was blown on the photographers’ side of the train by the Sherman Hill breezes. Better luck was with us on the eastbound trip at Lone Tree Fill. If we had results similar to earlier run-bys, I would still be picking cinders out of my hair. |
