GTW Alco RS 1 1951 works the roads Yard in Battle Creek Michigan in the summer of 1979. Alco RS-1s had one of the longest production spans for a Diesel locomotive March 1941 till March 1960. This unit Grand trunk western 1951 Built In October 1957 was the Last unit built for USA roads. . It is Now Preserverd at the Union Illinois railway museum
