Remarks & Notes

Three of Maine Central’s Independence Class “baby boats” and a GP7 lead a train into Rigby Yard in Portland, Mane. The ten U18’s were named for revolutionary war patriots and concepts, and were as close as the MEC came to having any bicentennial units.
