The Illinois Railway Museum "Happy Holiday Railway: The Holiday Light Experience" included a small train lead by Lake Superior & Ishpeming 35 (2-8-0, Baldwin, 1916). With the cooperation of the museum, photography of the exhibit was made possible during a slower period of visitation on the night of Saturday, December 26, 2020. A big thanks goes out to the volunteers and members of the IRM for keeping up the holiday spirit in spite of all of the current challenges.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom seen beauty of railroads from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding sunset to sunrise surprises!)
