Chicago Central & Pacific EMD GP10 No. 8199 leads an eastbound train out of the curved tunnel at East Dubuque, Illinois, on March 10, 1991. Tunnels are rare in Illinois—this one, and three on the Illinois Central, now Canadian National, Edgewood Cutoff in southern Illinois are the only ones still in use today.
