A pair of GP35s - with Chessie System numbers, but still in faded WM paint - are assisted by a GP30 and GP9 in CS colors as they head east from Springfield with a short freight (that includes a flanger just ahead of the CS cab). I won't claim this is the last CS train out of Springfield, but they are running on N&W's former Wabash main, so what's left of B&O (which once had two lines into the capital city) in Springfield must be getting close to the end.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
