A Hot Bear. Western Maryland Scenic Railroad F40M-2F 450 (née Amtrak 380 F40PH, 7/1981) was returning to the WMSR facility in Ridgeley, West Virginia when it crossed the North Branch Potomac River from Cumberland, Maryland on the afternoon of Sunday, June 20, 2021. The engine was painted "Polar Express" in 2019 as part of seasonal events, but is capable of serving all year long.
