New Siemens ALC-42 50th anniversary locomotive trails the consist on Amtrak No. 6, the California Zephyr. For more information on this unique paint scheme, see Railpictures photo ID 562182. Evidently, 50 years ago, a Penn Central E8 was painted in this scheme for an Amtrak publicity event.
