Two-thirds of the entire fleet of Heritage II diesels on the BNSF (at that time) lead a Super Bowl special (O-SBDSDG1-23) to San Diego, at the west end of Corona, passing through the Green River Gold Course as it enters Santa Ana Canyon. BNSF Dash 9-44CWs 739 and 740 lead the five-car train and are, along with 745, the only engines to wear the Heritage II scheme on this date. In short order, however, this will become the standard paint scheme for new power on the BNSF, until supplemented by the Heritage III scheme (with the new "swoosh" logo and dark green changed to black) in 2010.
