Transcendent Triumvirate. Amtrak 48 (Lake Shore Limited) had a noteworthy set of power on the morning of Saturday, August 28, 2021 as AMTK 106 (Phase V) lead Amtrak 50th Anniversary engines and 100 (Midnight Blue) and 108 (Phase VI). While the Power Desk may not have been fully prepared to hear the "wrong leader" complaint, it does offer a snapshot in time of a rare occurrence - 3 different Amtrak paint schemes on the same consist. The trio crossed Buffalo Draw in Buffalo, New York at just before 0900.
