A Mobile-bound L&N freight slides past the Floridian (powered by a B&O E8A) making its station stop at Montgomery. The freight won't delay the passengers, as just a few hundred yards out of the station the Floridian will swing on to SCL's former ACL line to Dothan, Thomasville and Waycross.
