Wide Open Again. The waiting room seating of New Jersey Transit's former Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad Hoboken Terminal had been closed for COVID-19 related reasons for most of 2020 and 2021. A view on September 12, 2021 shows now fully operational interior of this 1907 historic landmark, which includes stained glass by Louis Comfort Tiffany along side modern plasma information screens. Pre-COVID-19, the terminal facilities were used by more than 50,000 people a day taking heavy rail, light rail, PATH, and water ferries.
