Two 40-ton model electric locomotives (BB 80/80-4GHM829AEI) built in 1946 by General Electric, in Schenectady, New York will be preserved at the Sorocaba Railway Memory Center, at Paula Souza Station, maintained by Sorocabana - Movement for Railway Preservation , in the United States, for the Votorantim Electric Railroad (EFEV) — whose electrification, implemented between 1921 and 1922, celebrates its centenary. They were deactivated at the Santa Helena unit of Votorantim Cimentos, in Votorantim, and were donated by the company as a way of preserving its historical and industrial heritage. railroad between Sorocaba and Votorantim, where they operated between 1946 and the end of the 1980s.
