Cold But Happy. Amtrak Train 953 (IDTX 4608, Siemens, SC-44 leading) was in Kalamazoo, Michigan on early and frigid morning of Tuesday, January, 26, 2021. The train was performing high speed testing with Siemens Venture Coaches on several days that week. As of this time, the coaches have not entered revenue service while modifications are made to prepare them for passengers.
