Remarks & Notes
Red and Blue Meet. Summertime is the best time to shoot down Park Avenue from the MTA Metro-North Railroad, 125-Harlem, New York, New York and get those shots with Grand Central Terminal in the background. A rebuilt set of M3As headed north passes rebuilt M2s that are GCT bound on August 9, 2011. While the M2s are long gone from the railroad, the M3As soldier on with no planned replacement in sight.

With three lines radiating north out of Grand Central Terminal plus service to Port Jervis on the former Erie, Metro North covers a wide swatch of New York's northern suburbs with varying terrains.
