Trenton Makes MARC. On Sunday, November 29, 2015, Amtrak Train 1054 was a Thanksgiving Weekend extra using MARC equipment (4911, HHP-8 leading), seen crossing the Delaware River From Morrisville, PA to Trenton, NJ. After many years where nearly all of the northeast's commuter agencies either added additional service or leased equipment to Amtrak for this traditionally busiest travel day of the year, by 2019 only MARC and NJ Transit were involved in supplementing the fleet, and no additional cars were leased in 2020 or 2021.
