From the third floor is a view of the main concourse of Denver Union Station on a quiet morning. Amtrak’s westbound California is outside receiving passengers, leaving the terminal pretty empty at this early hour of August 23, 2021. The first floor of the station has an Amtrak ticket office, and several shops and restaurants, including the Terminal bar. Offices that once occupied the second and third floors of both wings are now the well-appointed rooms of the Crawford Hotel.
