(Unassisted) steamtrain of SBB Historic over the Gotthard line, near Pfaffensprung on the north ramp in a grade of 2.6 %. Locomotives 4-6-0 A 3/5 # 705 (SLM 1904) and 2-10-0 "Elephant" C 5/6 # 2978 (SLM 1917) are pulling 8 cars, including postal car and two diners. The cars are the following: mail car Z 961 (built 1932), thrid class C 9574 (1938), second/third class BC 5043 (1932), brown dining car Dr 25 (1930), third class C 8754 (1929), third class C 8809 (1930), first/second class AB 2671 (1930), blue former CIWL dining car WR 2749 (1929, operated by steam group Zürich). The train weight was 358 ton. The locomotives were fired with different coal qualities. The velocity was about 20 km/h on this part of the line. Sadly, all cars excluding the blue diner in the rear, are not operational any more nowadays (revision dates expired) and the future is not known.
