| A new configuration for The Ocean. VIA 15 from Halifax is crossing the Richelieu River on a cold winter morning. VIA 15 is currently running twice a week and arrives in Montreal on Monday and Thursday mornings. Since VIA 14 and 15 were reinstated in August 2021 (after not running since March 2020), this train has been running with back to back F40s and a mixed HEP/Renaissance set of cars, and no Park Car. This is because the train can no longer be turned on a balloon track in Halifax, with PSA Halifax (the owner of a container terminal) having taken back access to that track in November 2020. The power has to be back to back as it runs around the train and the first car on eastbound VIA 14 becomes the last car on westbound VIA 15. |
