By the time that the Reading & Northern took over Conrail’s former Reading main line and branches west of Reading, Pennsylvania, the yard office in St. Nicholas was no longer manned. When the crew of the mountain job invited us in while they made a short visit, I made an image of their U33B. Windex wasn’t in use, and only one of the panes was relatively clear.
