Bronx Bombers.
On April 8, 2022, the NY Transit Museum ran two special excursion trains for the Yankees home opener. One of these trains consisted of four IRT Lo-V cars, and the other six "Redbirds"; four R33s (painted in "corporate scheme") and two R36WFs. Here R36WF 9586 is seen on the south end of the excursion train laid up at 161st St Station, adjacent to Yankee Stadium, while a Manhattan-bound R142 (4) train arrives at the station.
