Reds At Rhinecliff. A three way meet of sorts occurred at CP 89 just north of the Amtrak Rhinecliff Station on the morning of April 21, 2022. With a hi-rail vehicle sitting behind it on Track 2, Train 236 (Empire Service) had gone over the switch from Track 1 to Track 2 while Train 63 (Maple Leaf) waited for it to clear. Train 236 is lead by AMTK 706, one of 18 P32AC-DMs used in Empire Service, and the only one presently in Phase V paint. The rest of the fleet has been or is being repainted into a version of Amtrak's Phase III paint scheme.
