Proud Pair: When I made plans and reservations to attend the second-to-last "Ramble" of the year, the intention was to catch freshly-restored 2102 in action. I've always been a fan of classy 4-6-2 No. 425 as well, of course, but I assumed that I'd need to make another trip at some point in the future if I wanted to see that one under steam. Imagine my surprise, then, when the news came that both of these incredible locomotives would be assigned to the excursion! Watching these two fine machines being warmed up for their trip was quite a sight.
