Remarks & Notes
Loop Meet. Two Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) trains are seen meeting north of Quincy station on the Union Loop. The train at right is a 5000-Series Pink Line train (Bombardier, 2009-2015), while the train at left is led by a former Skokie Swift 3200-Series (Morrison Knudsen, 1992-1994) - the walkway on the roof being a dead giveaway that a pantograph was formerly installed. Typically CTA cars are assembled in married pairs with another car of the same type, but interestingly no. 3448 here is paired with a non-Skokie Swift car!

A colorful system of subway and elevated trains that come by so often "you won't even notice it."
