Remarks & Notes

The 2022 Holiday Train has some new power this year with Polson Logging Company #2 on point. The train has previously been pulled by SP 4449. The smaller Mikado is more economical and does less wear and tear on Oregon Pacific than the heavy northerns that use to pull the train. #2 was brought from the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad this last fall to Albany & Eastern before coming to Portland.
