W&LE train 430 with former DRGW SD40T-2 5413 leading rolls east through Upper Sandusky, Ohio, among the snow and fall foliage of Nov. 14, 2021. The 430 is an as-needed transfer from the Indiana & Ohio at Lima, Ohio to the WE at Brewster, Ohio. Along for the ride this day was NKP-painted CRC GP30 901 headed to Brewster for wheel work, along with six scrap gondolas and six passenger cars for the W&LE employee Santa trains that year.
