Remarks & Notes
Sounding for Horton: The last Sounder commuter train for the day leaves Seattle and sounds the horn for the Horton Street Crossing. The Sound Transit F59 fleet has been the backbone of commuter operations along Puget Sound since the beginning of Sounder service in September of 2000. Progress Rail completed a full overhaul on the 11 unit fleet in 2018, bringing the locomotives in compliance with EPA Tier 3 diesel engine emission regulations.
