Remarks & Notes

The remains from the December 20th derailment are still hanging around til Norfolk Southern comes back to retrieve the three locomotives, and the cars that was left behind after the holidays. On the afternoon of December 20th NS 26C collided with a truck that was carrying a 100ft section concrete girder for the Apison Pike bridge project causing a very chaotic scene. Luckily the train crew walked away with minor injuries, but this turn of events will be that talk of this college community for a while.
