Normally, the 5-6 cars of an Empire Service train would only have a single locomotive. With the George Washington Bridge spanning the Hudson river between New York and New Jersey in the background, the train is headed geographically south on the Empire Corridor and will be arriving at New York's Penn Station and Moynihan Train Hall in about 10 minutes. In the foreground, the parking lot that once served patrons of Fairway Market sits vacant since this location closed in 2020.
