Remarks & Notes
We don't get around the long distance trains too much, so seeing the new long distance chargers has been rare. I was glad to see #7 have a combo set to show the new and old era. I am not at all excited for the new locomotives, but as with the railroad, nothing stays the same. Speaking of which Rondout is going thru alot of changes. The new siding to the Fox Lake Sub is coming right along. The signal gang in the area look to spell the end of these searchlight signals sometime soon. The signals went down in the 1st part of November 2022.

This train, which runs between Chicago and Seattle and Portland, takes its name from James J. Hill, who founded the Great Northern Railroad and extended it from Minnesota to the Pacific Coast.
