The trinity of the UP Steam Program for so long, UP 4014 (4-8-8-4), UP 844 (4-8-4) and UP 3985 (4-6-6-4) look out of the Steam Shop in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In November of 2022, UP 3985 was donated by the Union Pacific and moved to Silvas, Illinois, where it will be restored by the non-profit Railroading Heritage of Midwest America. One day, hopefully in the not-so-distant future, a reunion of the three iconic steam engines will bring them together again.
