Remarks & Notes
GUTHRIE OK March 26 1979 — Santa Fe CF7 2455 is assigned to switching duties in this one-time capital of Oklahoma. The unit is tied up just south of the station. EMD built the F unit in May 1951. It was delivered as ATSF F7A 252L in blue with chrome yellow trim and chrome yellow cigar-band nose herald. In June 1977 the Cleburne (TX) shops rebuilt it as CF7 2455 in yellow warbonnet and blue body. Santa Fe retired it in January 1982 and sold it to Southwestern Rail Car Jan 28 1983 where it was scrapped. My photo.
