Remarks & Notes
On this day, the boiler inspector SVTI came to Arth Goldau for the annual inspection of 3 steam vehicles. Everything looks a bit slanted when the cogwheel steam locomotive with upright boiler H 1/2 # 7 is standing on a level track like here on the traverser of the Arth Goldau depot. The locomotive was built in 1873 as very first locomotive of the new founded SLM (Schweizerische Lokomotiv- und Maschinenfabrik) for the Rigi Bahn (Vitznau-Rigi), and is owned nowadays by the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne. In the moment, the operational locomotive is guest on the Rigi Bahnen for 3 years.
