Remarks & Notes

SFBR's decommissioned ALCO S2 rests in the yard, stripped of its prime mover. Hopefully this historic locomotive, or its repowered sister #23, can be preserved at one of the many Northern California Railroad Museums. Photo shot on private property with explicit permission from SFBR staff. A great lesson in "it never hurts to ask permission," because the SFBR staff member I asked for permission from happily let me walk around the ALCOs for a few shots.

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
