CSXT 1976 (Conrail Heritage, ES44AC, GE) was leading CSX Train M434-19, seen crossing Snake Hole Creek near Tomkins Cove, New York on the evening of Saturday, August 19, 2023 with the hills of Roa Hook in the background across the Hudson River. This unit is one of a series that CSX has started to release with a modern CSX painted cab and a "heritage" body, with the scheme of a predecessor railroad and numbered for the year that company began operating. The sun was dipping below the mountains at about 40 minutes before sunset creating this view.
