| KANSAS CITY KS March 10 1979 — Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad MP15AC MILW 440 awaits a call to switching duties. EMD built the unit (b/n 75629-7) and delivered it to the Milwaukee Road in January 1976. Through merger in 1985 it became Minneapolis, St. Paul and Sault Ste. Marie Railroad as SOO 1506. The lease on the unit expired on April 1 1991 and it was returned to American Financial Group and stored until acquired by Union Pacific on March 16 1993 as UP 1406. On June 19 2001 it became UPY 1406. All mistakes are mine. Corrections and/or additions welcome. My photo.
