A trio of cabooses bring up the rear of a westbound BN freight rolling through Newport, MN on its last lap into the Twin Cities. BN 10708, a modern extended vision caboose is preceded by two former Burlington ones. The middle caboose was a slightly sloped cupola style built in Burlington's Havelock shops at Lincoln, NE. The first ones classified as NE-12 were built in 1954, the NE-12A version in 1960. After that, CBQ switched to extended vision cabooses like the lead one on this train.
