A Lunar halo shines over the night sky, as the east end of Truckee is lined up for a westbound stack train. East Truckee (CRPV 208) is located at MP 208, or 35 west of Reno, NV on Donner Pass. I dont think I have seen a lunar halo as bright or defined as this one.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
