After the long descent from the Arizona Divide, a westbound intermodal is crossing the Colorado River from Topock, Arizona, into California and will soon change crews at Needles before setting out across the Mojave Desert. The power exhibits the three different BNSF paint schemes used since the ATSF-BN merger.
