Remarks & Notes

Originally built in 1968 as Penn Central GP40 PC 3217 before being acquired by Conrail as CR 3217. Ohio Central then purchased her, turning her into OHCR 3217, before being purchased by her current owner Buckingham Branch Railroad.

The "BB" was founded in 1988 and ran its first train on March 6, 1989. The BB has grown from 17 miles of track and two employees to 275 miles and 75 employees, spanning over Virginia in three separate divisions.
